To Add products, click on the Add button from the main menu, then complete the product details below (* = Required Fields).

Once all of the product details have been entered click on the Add Product button to add the item to the database.

Overview of Adding a product into the shopping cart:

ID Number

This identifies the products position in the database.

Item_Ref*

This is used to uniquely identify each product that you sell e.g PROD002.

Product Name*

This is the name of the product.

Category*

This will indicate the group that the product belongs to.

Price*

This is identifies the price of the product, please do not include the pound sign e.g 1.99.

Taxable

If you wish VAT to be added to this product (17.5% if in EU) select YES if not select No.

Weight_Grams

The weight of the product in grams (This can sometimes be used to calculate postage).

Status

This will identify if the product is in stock or not.

Display Order

If you have a product on special offer set this value to a high number for it to appear at the top of product listings.

Short_Description*

This is a brief summary of your product.

Long_Description*

A more detailed explination of the product.

Option 1, 2 and 3

This will allow option drop down boxes to be added to the site e.g  size, color, logo etc…

In the option name enter “size” then in the add new option box enter “Small” then click on add option to list, next enter “Medium” and then click on add option to list and then finally enter “Large” and finally click on the add option to list button again.

Upload Product Thumbnail

This will allow you to upload the small thumbnail for your product. Click on the browse button and locate the image you wish to upload from your machine.

Upload Product Image

This will allow you to upload a large image for your product. Click on the browse button and locate the image you wish to upload from your machine.
