I get the the message: 'The item cannot be displayed in the Reading Pane. The item has not been received from the server' When I try to download my emails on Outlook.

Your Outlook is setup to only retrieve headers and not full email message.

To fix this go to: Tools > Send/Receive > Send/Receive Settings > Define Send/Receive Groups then Highlight a group > Click Edit

Then select the radio button that says "Download complete item including attachments"

This should allow you to download the full message
